Nokia 1, A budget-oriented device from HMD Global and first Nokia device to come with Android Oreo (GO edition) is announced at MWC 2018.

Nokia came up with many interesting smartphones in MWC 2018. One of them was the Nokia 1 which was ridiculously priced at just $85. Nokia 1 is an entry-level Android Phone from HMD global. It comes with some basic specifications and a lighter version of Android Oreo aka Android GO.

Talking about the specifications of Nokia 1, The Nokia 1 comes with a 1.1 GHz Quad-Core Processor, MediaTek MT6737M with 1 GB of Ram and 8 GB Internal Storage option. A Micro SD slot which lets you add 128 GB of external storage. Nokia 1 comes with 5MP Rear Camera and 2MP Selfie Camera.

Nokia 1 comes with a 2150 MaH Removable Battery that promises up to 9 hours of talk time and 15 days of standby time. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/AGPS, Micro-USB 2.0 and a 3.5mm Headphone jack.

One more fascinating thing about Nokia 1 is its build quality, The Nokia 1 comes with a two-tone poly-carbonate body that supports Xpress, Meaning you will be able to customize your device easily. The Nokia 1 will be available in Warm Red and Dark Blue Colors. The Xpress-on covers will be sold individually starting at $7.99 in Azure, Green, Yellow and Pink color options.

Android Oreo (Go Edition) Features:

Nokia 1 is one of the first smartphones in the market to come with Android Oreo (GO Edition). Android GO is a lighter version of the Android 8.0 aka Android Oreo which comes with some basic features of Android Oreo and some pre-installed GO apps like YouTube GO, Google GO and Gmail GO which are quite low on storage and runs smoothly with minimum hardware.
Nokia promised Android P and Android Q updates for Nokia 1 and monthly security updates.

Nokia 1 Price and Availability:

The Nokia 1 was announced on 26th February and will go on sale at the beginning of April. Nokia confirmed that the Nokia 1 will be priced at about $85.
