Huawei's sub-brand Honor was all set to launch Honor 20 & Honor 20 Pro on May 21 in London, the two phones are high-end mid-range devices that will compete with OnePlus 7 series. Yesterday, we had no hopes for the launch of Honor 20 and 20 Pro but Huawei has now told us that the launch of Honor 20 will be Un-Affected and will launch according to the dates.
Rumored Specifications of Honor 20 and Honor 20 Pro
According to leaked specifications, the Honor 20 may come with 6.26-inch IPS LCD panel with punch hole notch housing 32 megapixel selfie shooter. Other rumored specifications include Kirin 980 SoC paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Kirin 820 is based on 7nm process and also used in Huawei P30 series, and Mate 20. Honor 20 is said to come with quad camera setup. The quad camera setup features 48MP Sony IMX586 primary lens, the same lens is used on the OnePlus 7 Pro and Redmi Note 7 Pro. Back to the setup, the phone comes with 16-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens, 8-megapixel telephoto lens and an 2-megapixel macro lens.
Honor 20 will be housing 3,750mAH battery with SuperCharge fast charging technology.
On the other hand, the bigger brother carries 6.5-inch OLED display with in-display fingerprint scanner, punch hole notch housing 32 megapixel selfie shooter, quad-camera setup, 4000mAH battery with fast charge support, Kirin 980 chipset paired with 8GB Ram and 256GB of internal memory.
Talking about software, there is no news if it will come pre-installed with Play Store & other Google applications. Though, Its very unlikely to come with Google apps and services let's just hope for the best.
Price and Release Date Of Honor 20 and Honor 20 Pro
If things go good, Honor 20 and Honor 20 will be made official on May 21 in London, and on May 31 in China. I am not sure if it will launch in London, but I can say that it might get arrived in China as in China, most Google Applications are already banned.
There will be 3 variants for the smaller brothers as 6 GB + 128 GB , 8GB + 128 GB and 8 GB and 256 GB internal memory. The variants are said to be priced at 2699 Yuan ($390), 2999 Yuan ($423) and 3499 Yuan (Roughly $506).
Talking about the Pro version, it is also said to come in 3 variants as 8 GB + 128 GB and 8 GB and 256 GB internal storage and one variant is said to be special edition Honor 20 Pro coming at huge internal storage of 512 GB. The Pro version starts at $535 for base model and $607 for 256 GB internal storage variant.
