One of the companies that comes in our mind while thinking about budget & mid-range Android phones is Redmi. Redmi, a sub-brand of Xiaomi that focuses on mid-range smartphones that feature un-believable specifications at lower prices. Redmi Note 7 & Redmi Note 7 Pro are two recently launched Redmi smartphones that are considered top budget smartphones in 2019. Redmi never entered the flagship league but this time around, Redmi K20 will be the first Redmi flagship device.

Leaked Specifications & Rumors
There is no news about the variants of Redmi K20. But most probably there will be 2 smartphones, one which will be lite version and the other will be the Redmi K20 Pro. K20 Pro will compete with OnePlus 7 Pro.
The Redmi K20 Pro must feature Qualcomm's latest & most powerful chipset; Qualcomm Snapdragon 855. Also the tweet by Manu Kumar indicates that it will be using Qualcomm chipset.
Manu Kumar also tweeted about another 48 MP camera smartphone, saying Redmi Note 7 Pro was a camera beast & now there is going to be another 48 MP camera smartphone for everyone.

The Redmi K20 Pro is expected to feature 6.39-inch AMOLED display with no notch and less bezels featuring pop-up cameras. This will be Redmi's first pop-up camera smartphone. It will feature 4,000 mAh battery with 20W fast charging support.

Another interesting thing about K20 Pro is it's benchmarks score. The benchmarks on K20 Pro have beaten it's own company record of Mi 9. And is the highest of all till now, that is about 450K. Normally, benchmarks score on Snapdragon 855 are under 400K.
But the real thing to think about is if it will be buttery smooth and fast like OnePlus 7. Though, first they should remove annoying ADs on their UI before even thinking about comparing to stock experience like on OnePlus.
Price and Release Date Of Redmi K20 Pro
The Redmi K20 Pro is said to launch soon, officially releasing May 21,2019 in India and at an estimated price tag of $400 to $500. The Redmi K20 Pro will be priced similar to the pricing of Poco F1.
The Redmi K20 Pro will not only compete with OnePlus 7 but also with Real Me's flagship Real Me X.
