Xiaomi has launched another smartphone in the family of Note 7 called Note 7S. The Note 7S is cheaper version of Redmi Note 7 Pro which were launched only in China and India. The specifications, price and release date of Redmi Note 7S are discussed below.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 7S carries 6.3-inch IPS LCD panel with FHD+ resolution, the phone comes with a water drop notch as seen on earlier smartphones like Redmi Note 7 and Note 7 Pro. There are 3 colors on the Redmi Note 7S: Onyx Black, Blue Sapphire and Ruby Red. For now, only blue sapphire is available in the Pakistani market. According to Xiaomi both front and rear of the device is protect by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
The Redmi Note 7S is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC paired with 3GB or 4GB Ram with 32 and 64GB internal storage respectively. Redmi Note 7S is an excellent device for mobile gamers on budget, Snapdragon 660 is capable of running high-end games like PUBG mobile with ease. The Note 7S comes with 4000 mAH battery with 10W charger inside the box, you can fast charge it upto 18W using Quick Charge 4.0.
One of the biggest highlights of Redmi Note 7S are it's rear cameras. The Redmi Note 7S comes with dual rear camera, primary is of 48-megapixel Samsung GM-1 sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a depth sensor of 5-megapixel. The rear cameras are capable of PDAF, EIS and AI portrait mode. The cameras on the Note 7S are not as good as on the Redmi Note 7 Pro, they do not capture true 48-megapixel shot as the Snapdragon 660 doesn't support it but still Note 7S is one of the best budget camera phones you can buy. The front camera on Note 7S is of 13-megapixel also capable of AI-driven portrait shot.
The Redmi Note 7S comes with a rear fingerprint scanner and face unlock feature. Other features include dual-SIM slot, v5.0 bluetooth, GPS, USB-type C port and 3.5mm headphone jack.

The Redmi Note 7S is already released in Pakistan known as the "Redmi Note 7". The Note 7 launched in India had 12-megapixel sensor and so they launched another variant with 48-megapixel camera that is already available to Pakistani consumers. The Note 7S is actually Redmi Note 7 Global Edition. Overall, the device is pretty decent with good price to performance ratio.
